How to order by fax or email
To place an order by fax or email, simply follow these guidelines.
Locate the product that you would like to order.
Provide us your full name, address, city, state, daytime phone number, email address and method of payment. For all email and fax orders we take Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. Note: For verification purposes, we will need the billing address for your credit card.
Indicate when you would like to receive your order, and if it’s a gift.
Once your order is received, and the payment verified, you will receive a confirmation from our customer service department.
How to order on the Internet
Key in www.sonomacattle.com and locate the type of meat or fish you would like to order. Follow the instructions for completing the transaction. You will receive an email with a transaction form of your order. Call customer service if you have any questions about your order.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does your meat come from?
Sonoma Cattle beef comes from a number of established ranches throughout the central region of the US. We choose from only the highest grade beef, chicken, and pork available from these suppliers.
How are the products packaged for shipped?
All Sonoma Cattle products are packed in sturdy Styrofoam containers with dry ice and additional sturdy exterior cardboard boxes to ensure the products remain frozen as well as stable during shipment.
If my meat arrives partially thawed, are they still good?
Yes, the steaks are still good if cold to the touch and may be refrigerated or frozen until you are ready to eat them. If they arrive warm to the touch, do not consume them, and contact Customer Service at 1-866-707-2333.
How long will my steaks last in the freezer?
For optimum taste and tenderness, we recommend using your steaks within 6 months. This does not mean the steaks are spoiled after six months. The steaks will still be of exceptional quality for up to a year after receiving them.
How do I thaw my meat?
Sonoma Cattle meats should always be thawed in your refrigerator in the vacuum packaging. This allows the product to thaw slowly while retaining the natural juices essential for great flavor. Steaks will usually thaw overnight or within one day in your refrigerator. Allow proper time for thawing before cooking. Thawed steaks and may be re-frozen so long as they have remained refrigerated and have not thawed longer than one day.
How do I cook my steaks?
Simply preheat your oven, grill, or broiler. Seal in the meat’s natural juices by searing at a high temperature in a sauté pan or skillet on your stove top, or on your grill. Then reduce the heat and cook until it reaches the desired level or degree of doneness.
What items should not be refrozen once thawed?
Chicken, Lobster Tails and Shrimp should not be refrozen once thawed, however if they are cool to the touch upon receipt, they can be refrigerated for up to 7 days and cooked normally.

What form of confirmation should I expect to receive after ordering product online?
You will receive a confirmation page with an order number immediately after clicking the "Place Order" button. If you do not receive either of these, you can contact Customer Service to see if the order processed at 1-866-707-2333.
What form of payment do you accept?
Online orders may be purchased with VISA, MASTERCARD , AMERICAN EXPRESS.
Return Policy
Internet sales
If you need to return an item due to spoilage or damage during shipping, please contact our office (1-866-707-2333) as soon as possible. We will be happy to replace the item or refund your money.
If for any other reason you are not happy with your product, please return the item or call our office within 7 days of delivery. We will remit the full purchase price of your items excluding shipping charges. We are sorry but after 7 days we will only exchange the product, no cash, check or credit refunds will be given.
Door to Door Sales
We guarantee our product for six months against taste, tenderness and freezer burn. If you are not happy with the product we will be happy to exchange and/or replace (the remaining products) or refund your money, (3-day refund only.) To be issued a full refund the product must be returned in entirety in its original condition. We are sorry but there will be no refunds after 3 days of your date of purchase. Please note it will take up to 30 days to receive your refund from our office.
Our guarantee is only valid for credit card and check transactions made payable to Sonoma Cattle and cash purchases with a receipt.
